This piece is a realistic portrait of my little brother, Maxym, who is on the autism spectrum. His figure is composed of puzzle pieces, representing the complexity and uniqueness of individuals in the spectrum. One puzzle piece is missing where his eye should be, symbolizing both a gap and a journey of self-discovery; Maxym reaches for this missing piece with his hand. Surrounding him is a rainbow infinity symbol, flowing like a gentle braid, which represents the diversity, hope, and limitless potential of people with autism. The cosmic background reflects Maxym’s love of space and adds a sense of vastness, wonder, and exploration.
This artwork was created to support Maxym and raise awareness about autism. It is used as a visual representation for a foundation where people can donate 1% of their tax to help him.
